3# Package with Italian Queen

Due to their gentleness and impressive foraging capabilities, Italian bees are the most commonly kept bee in North America. Worker bees for our 3# packages are raised in Texas and our Italian queens are sourced from Georgia and Hawaii.  We offer 4 options: plain, clipped only, marked only, or clipped and marked. Please indicate your selection in the dropdown box below.  Please note that a clipped and marked queen is standard for our package bees and there is a $5 up-charge for any of the other 3 options.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION PRIOR TO ORDERING PACKAGE BEES TO BE SHIPPED.

We offer package bees to be shipped to the 49 continental states. However, transit times, policies, and guarantees will vary depending on the region to where they are to be shipped.

1. All packages shipped within TEXAS will be done so via UPS Ground or USPS Ground and will have a 1-2 day transit time. These packages feature a live delivery guarantee. Please read more about the live delivery guarantee below.

2. All packages shipped to the following states will be done so via USPS ground with a 2-7 day transit time and will feature our live delivery guarantee: ALABAMA, ARIZONA, ARKANSAS, COLORADO, GEORGIA, ILLINOIS, INDIANA, IOWA, KANSAS, KENTUCKY, LOUISIANA, MISSISSPPI, MISSOURI, NEBRASKA, NEW MEXICO, OKLAHOMA, SOUTH CAROLINA, SOUTH DAKOTA, & TENNESSEE. Please read more about the live delivery guarantee below.

3. All packages shipped to ANY OF THE CONTINENTAL STATES NOT LISTED ABOVE will be shipped via USPS ground and will have approximately a 4-8 day transit time. Due to extended shipping times and possibly delays, any package bees shipped to those states will NOT feature our live delivery guarantee.

 

When placing an order with The R.Weaver Apiaries, Inc, you're agreeing to the following policies & guarantees.

LIVE DELIVERY GUARANTEE-SHIPPING

The R.Weaver Apiaries, Inc. will make one reshipment only of any package bees that are dead on arrival through no fault of the customer, IF it is reported within 24 hours of delivery. Photographic evidence is required and should be emailed to us at rweaver@rweaver.com. Shipping and handling costs are not included on the replacement and are the responsibility of the customer. Please note that only the following states are eligible for the live delivery guarantee: ALABAMA, ARIZONA, ARKANSAS, COLORADO, GEORGIA, ILLINOIS, INDIANA, IOWA, KANSAS, KENTUCKY, LOUISIANA, MISSISSPPI, MISSOURI, NEBRASKA, NEW MEXICO, OKLAHOMA, SOUTH CAROLINA, SOUTH DAKOTA,  TENNESSEE, & TEXAS.

PLEASE NOTE THAT A 1-1.5 INCH LAYER OF DEAD BEES AT THE BOTTOM OF A PACKAGE IS COMPLETELY NORMAL AND DOES NOT INDICATE THAT YOUR PACKAGE BEES ARE DEFECTIVE

The R.Weaver Apiaries, Inc. is not responsible and will not replace package bees that are left in the cold or hot sun by your UPS or USPS carrier. It is best to have your package bees shipped to a UPS OR USPS PICK UP LOCATION if at all possible. Please provide that information at checkout as your shipping address. If that is not an option, please discuss your bee shipment with your local UPS or USPS carrier prior to arrival regarding the proper handling while en route. If you will not be home,we suggest leaving your driver a note instructing them to not leave your package in a location, such as direct sunlight, where the bees may become too hot and perish.

LIVE DELIVERY GUARANTEE-PICKUP

The R.Weaver Apiaries, Inc guarantees your bees will be alive and healthy when you pick them up from our store, but is not responsible for deaths due to mishandling or untimely hiving once they leave our premises. We do not guarantee successful queen introduction or establishment of a full colony resulting from package bee intallation.

Should you need to cancel your order, we can do that with a store credit to be applied to a future purchase. If a refund is desired, we offer a "one time only" courtesy refund. Cancellations require a TWO-WEEK NOTICE prior to pick-up or ship date.

RESCHEDULING POLICY

FOR SHIPPING: Should you need to reschedule your shipping window, we require a TWO WEEK NOTICE prior to your previously chosen shipping window.

FOR PICKUP: Should you need to reschedule your pickup date, we require a 72 HOUR NOTICE PRIOR to your previously chosen pickup date. No refunds or store credit will be issued for cancellations made in less than 72 hours prior to your pickup date.
