Weaver Buckfast Queen - Expedited Shipping in Texas
Weaver Buckfast queens are bred in our apiaries in The Brazos Valley as they have been for generations. By following the basic principles first developed by Brother Adam of Buckfast Abbey, we select our breeding queens carefully resulting in bees that are known for their gentleness, generous laying patterns, and abundant honey production. FOR QUEEN SHIPMENTS DURING JUNE, JULY, AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER
WITH TEMPERATURES RISING, THE SUMMER MONTHS FOR SHIPPING LIVE QUEENS IS VERY HIGH RISK. ONCE QUEENS ARE SHIPPED FROM OUR FARM, WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER HANDLING. IT IS NOT UNUSUAL FOR MAIL CARRIERS TO LEAVE QUEENS IN MAILBOXES, WHERE THEY MAY OVERHEAT AND PERISH. WE ENCOURAGE CUSTOMERS TO PURCHASE LIVE DELIVERY INSURANCE OR CHOOSE THE NEXT DAY AIR DELIVERY OPTION.
LIVE DELIVERY IS NOT GUARANTEED WITHOUT THE PURCHASE OF OUR OPTIONAL LIVE DELIVERY INSURANCE.
ABOUT LIVE DELIVERY INSURANCE:
1. Insurance is $6 per queen and will cover a one time replacement.
2. Insurance must be chosen at the time of initial purchase/checkout and cannot be added after your order has shipped.
3. All claims must be submitted the day of delivery and photos of the dead queens, in their unopened cages, must be submitted to us via email at rweaver@rweaver.com.
4. Replacement queens are shipped USPS 1st Class mail. If you would like to upgrade the shipping for a replacement queen, please call our office (936) 825-2333.
